bismillah......salam jumaat untuk semua..alhamdulillah hari ni hari terakhir industrial training saya di pilot plant,kuliyyah of pharmacy,UIAM kuantan.....hari ni genap 2 bulan kami posting di sini dan pagi tadi ada final presentation with all lecturers and staffs..=)
ok...so,saya akan share progress project saya utk kita sama-sama tambah ilmu ye...
project : Amlodipine
1) consultation with Dr farah regarding final formulation of amlodipine. hence, the API and excipients are:
a) amlodipine
b) SSG
c) granulac lactose 100
d) talc
e) aerosil
f) water
2) flow function test was done on granulac lactose 100 and granulac lactose 200. granulac lactose 100 has better flowability compared with granulac lactose 200. hardness test and friability test was done on NORVASC and COVASC. the test is done using Powder Flow tester.
3) start with granulation and drying process. firstly, we need to sieve all the excipients using the sieve machine. then, mix them in granulator machine before proceed with granulation process. overall,it takes about 3 hours to complete. the, proceed with drying using fluidized bed dryer for 1 hour.

4) start milling process to reduce the particles size using COMIL machine in pilot plant.
5) then, mix the amlodipine with lubricant which is talc before undergo density test using tapped density tester.
6) then,start tableting process.
ok.....ni secara ringkas la ye..saya malas nak tulis in detail....huhu..penat..tapi alhamdulillah,banyak sangat ilmu yg kami dapat belajar..sebelum ni belajar theory je dalam kelas...tapi kali ni dapat peluang utk buat sendiri Amlodipine dari awal sampai akhir.....=)
so,sekarang nak cuti puas2......cuma nak siapkan report je...insyaAllah petang ni akan balik ke temerloh..then,ke terengganu sebab tahun ni turn beraya di terengganu pulak..kemudian,baru beraya di kelantan........
